Mindset Assessment Tool
Chapter Two: The Belief-to-Energy Gauge
Your mindset determines how you use your juice—whether it fuels your growth or drains your potential.
Instructions
This assessment will help you identify how your beliefs influence your energy, attitude, motivation, and resilience.
For each statement below, select the option that best represents how strongly you agree or disagree. Be honest—this is about self-awareness, not judgment.
Scoring Guide
1. Reverse-score items 3, 5, 7, and 10 (i.e., if you selected 5, count it as a 1, if you selected 4, count it as a 2, etc.).
2. Add up your total score. Your score will fall between 10 and 50.
Scoring and Interpretation Guide
41 – 50: High-Energy Growth Beliefs
You fuel your energy with a mindset of possibility
You embrace challenges, reframe setbacks, and recognize the power of effort.
You are likely to persist in difficult situations and inspire others with your belief in growth.
Your energy is an asset to those around you.
31 – 40: Moderate-Energy Growth Potential
Your beliefs often fuel your energy, but some doubts remain
You understand that growth is possible but may hesitate at obstacles.
With more intentional belief shifts, your energy can reach peak levels.
Work on replacing limiting thoughts with empowering ones.
21 – 30: Unstable Energy – Shifting Mindset Needed
Your energy fluctuates due to self-doubt and limiting beliefs
You may sometimes think success is based on talent alone rather than effort.
Challenges feel discouraging rather than motivating.
Developing self-efficacy strategies can increase your energy reserves.
10 – 20: Energy Blocked by Fixed Beliefs
Your mindset is limiting your energy
You may believe your abilities are mostly set and you struggle to push past obstacles.
Self-doubt might be draining your motivation before you even take action.
Start with small belief shifts, focusing on areas where growth is most visible.
Next Steps: Boosting Your Mindset Energy
Reframe Fixed Beliefs: If you scored lower, identify one belief you hold that limits your energy. Reframe it using a “Yet” statement. For example, “I’m not good at public speaking” → “I’m not good at public speaking yet.”
Leverage the Bannister Effect: What is one thing you previously thought was impossible that you now do with ease? Apply that mindset to your current challenges.
Identify Energy Drains: Notice when you tell yourself limiting stories. Where is your energy being trapped?
Create an Energy Shift Ritual: When doubts creep in, use a physical movement or mantra to redirect your energy. For example, take three deep breaths and say, “I bring the juice.”
This profile shows the pulse of your current belief system, not a fixed trait. Beliefs can change, and when they do, they transform what’s possible.
Your juice is too valuable to be limited by restrictive beliefs. Use this assessment as a starting point to recognize where your mindset might be holding back your potential.
This assessment is intended as a reflective and developmental reference tool, designed to offer insights into energy patterns and influence dynamics. It is not a clinical, psychological, or psychometric assessment, nor has it undergone formal clinical validation or testing. Results should be interpreted as guidance for self-awareness and growth, rather than as diagnostic conclusions.
